GlobalChatter was launched April 16th, 2004 and was originally hosted on a discarded, old, slow computer that wasn't even fast enough for most of us to use as a home computer - and resided in a dusty corner of the office where I then worked! Not to mention the ify internet connection. :) Much to my delight, the site took off quickly and professional hosting became a must!
 When GlobalChatter was first launched, it was designed for a select group of INFP's belonging to a specific mailing list. When I began to see it's possibilities, I talked with other members, and we all agreed that this place should be available to any person who is or is interested in INFP's. The community has grown and proven itself to be a great place to learn and grow. Sometimes it has been a place for us to retreat from the real world into one that is more "familiar" and "understanding" to us - a haven.
Because this place has been so great for all us INFP's, we've decided to make a home for each of the 16 different personality types here also, though this is currently a work-in-progress. After this is done, each type will have it's own community, along with areas where all types interact.
